Discovering a career that fits YOU

Discovering a career that fits YOU

"How do I know what the right career path is for me?"

If you are finishing high school this year, or graduating soon, this question will likely be at the forefront of your mind. What makes this question so difficult to solve is that a key part to answering it is really knowing "YOU."

What are your interests, values, strengths, and weaknesses? Do you care deeply about anything topic, issue, or subject matter? How do you enjoy learning and growing as a person?

Job fairs, or career fairs, can be a great opportunity to help you answer these questions. The events will give you a chance to learn more about an industry you're curious about, as well as hear from people who've gone through the exact same process you are going through right now.

AN EVENT TO CHECK OUT - TODAY!

Today WE Build a Dream is hosting a virtual, Canada-wide career fair which celebrates exploring a career in science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM)! • THE ART OF CHOCOLATE: A fireside chat with WE Build a Dream founder Nour Hachem-Fawaz and Chef Tammy Maki of Raven Rising.
  • KEEPING US MOVING PANEL: In this panel, students will be able to go into breakout rooms and discuss industry career paths.
